PNI's unique and patented technology brings unparalled detection sensitivity in an incredibly low-power package, giving you cordless convenience without sacrificing an ounce of performance. The Cordless Traveller was developed from the ground up to be a superior radar detector The bi-laminar antenna (patent pending) is constructed of two sheets of copper, which dramatically intensify the incoming signal. Other manufacturers use only one detector made of cast aluminum. Your benefit is an increased signal to noise ratio. That means you'll recognize speed traps sooner. Our (patent pending) FET (field effect transistor) resistive mixer allows the Traveller to process signals faster and more accurately. Other manufacturers are still using mixer diodes and oscillators. As a result, you get fewer annoying false alerts and considerably faster detection response. Also, FET circuitry consumes less power, providing much longer battery life. So you get portability, a clean dash, and the superior radar performance in one package.

The V2000 combines the most popular features from our compass line with other desired enhancements. First and foremost, it utilizes PNI's patented magnetic sensor technology V the same compass technology used in GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles V accurate within 5?a. It's easy to mount on a windshield with suction cups, and comes with an adjustable bracket for optimal viewing (even on vertical windshields) and a structural design that reduces vibration. Many smart features are standard on PNI compasses including automatic shut-off when the vehicle is parked for a few minutes, and distortion warning when magnetic interference from outside sources, such as steel from a bridge or overpass, is affecting compass accuracy. A 12-volt adapter is included that inserts into a lighter socket to save battery life. Or an optional hard wire kit can be purchased separately. The unit operates under a wide temperature range and is compact in size but big enough to read from a distance, a benefit of the holographic LCD.
